WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?

A home inspection is the visual examination of the structure and systems of a house based on the National Association of Home Inspectors (NACHI) Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

HOW MUCH DOES A HOME INSPECTION COST?

The cost depends on the size and the age of a home. Rates start at $350 for a residential property under 1500 sq ft, and increase $50 for every additional 500 sq ft.

1500 sqft or less  - $350

1500 - 2000 sqft - $400

2000 - 2500 sqft - $450

2500 - 3000 sqft - $500

3000 sqft or more - $550

HOW LONG DOES AN INSPECTION TAKE?

Depending on size and age, an inspection could take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.

DOES THE BUYER OR CLIENT HAVE TO BE THERE FOR THE INSPECTION?

The Client is not required to be there for the inspection. The inspector will discuss the inspection with the Client over the phone, or an in person follow up meeting can be scheduled.
